Brief History of the School
Army Public School, Birpur was established in July 2006 on conversion from Blooming Dales Middle School, after obtaining Army HQ AWES sanction. The School is housed in re appropriated MES buildings including some buildings earmarked for demolition. The School received CBSE affiliation from Class I to 8th in 2007. The School received CBSE approval up to Class-10th on 25 Feb 08. The school received CBSE approval up to Class 12th for humanities and commerce streams in 2010. Subsequently affiliation for additional science stream was sought & received in Dec 2013.
Army Public School, Birpur is a co-educational, day school, situated in the Dehradun Valley. It is run by the Army Welfare Education Society. It prepares students according to standards prevailing in the world today .The courses of study as well as norms of achievement in every field are aimed at preparing students for educational qualifications acceptable throughout the world. The curriculum is based on syllabi laid down by the reputed and universally acceptable Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
